The Island Beachcomber has a beautiful location right on the beach and is just a short walk from the airport, which is incredibly convenient. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, making the stay comfortable. However, my room had some cleanliness issues and the air conditioning took a while to kick in. The rustic charm of the hotel may appeal to some, but it could use some updates for better overall comfort.
I had a great time at this hotel! The beach is just a few steps away, making it super convenient for swimming anytime. The room was cozy and comfortable, really felt like home. Although the front desk staff could be friendlier, the bartender and restaurant service were better. The food at the bar was delicious, especially the conch fritters! It's an amazing value for the price, but be prepared for possible noise from the bar if you're an early sleeper.
